Travel information

Transfers from the airports at Klagenfurt, Salzburg, Ljubljana, Trieste and Venice can be arranged at an extra cost. By public transport: Take a train to Villach. The main bus station is just opposite the train station. Take bus no. 5150 (destination Radenthein) to the Verditz Bergbahnen (about a 20-minute drive). You can then take the chairlift up to lift station 3 (you will pass by the hotel on your way up) and walk approx. 150 metres back down to the hotel. Alternatively, transfers can be arranged (at an extra cost) from Villach-Hauptbahnhof or the Verditz Bergbahnen. Please note that the chairlift only operates during the summer and winter seasons, when it opens at 09:00/09:45 and closes at 16:00/17:00. Nestled amid the Nockberge region in western Carinthia, the stylish Art-Lodge is situated on a 16,000 m² plot of land. It offers a spa area, a natural pool and free Wi-fi. A former farm with a 300-years history, the main building was carefully renovated and the barn was converted into comfortable guest accommodations. There is a natural pool and a small spa hut in the courtyard. The hotel is right next to the ski slope at 1,058 metres above sea level, only 300 metres from the chair lift station. Cuisine from all over the world prepared from organic ingredients of local farmers is served in the intimate restaurant. Breakfast is served until 13:00.

The hotel is about a 40-minute drive from Klagenfurt Airport and about a 20-minute drive from Villach Train Station. From Salzburg it is approximately a 90-minute drive.
