The Hotel Alpina Airolo is situated in Airolo, in the heart of the Swiss Alps, a few minutes from the Airolo A2 motorway-exit. Weather permitting, you can dine outside on the terrace. The bar and the reading/TV room, which has a play area for children, invites you to unwind. You will find 2 big private and free car parks and the Mini Bus Service is at your disposal as well. The majestic alpine area of the St.Gotthard, the Piora-Ritom district with its fascinating lakes, the Bedretto and the Leventina valleys, offer a large choice for excursions. In winter the Funivie del San Gottardo cable car takes skiers and snowboarders to a great skiing area at 2000 metres above sea level. In the Bedretto valley you can find a large number of cross-country tracks. Numerous historical buildings, churches, museums and military forts recall the eventful past of the Leventina valley.
