Hotel information

Our hotel is around 800 years old. Both our houses, the Schlosswirt and the dependence Kramerbauer show through their unique and charming interior, all in original Biedermeier style, the historical character of our hotel.

Room information

All our 28 rooms are fully equipped with all common facilities and some have a balcony. Some have a marvellous view to the Untersberg or to the unique water castle and its lake. We also offer room service, concierge-service, valet parking, garage and laundry and ironing service. Dogs are permitted in the rooms.

Food & beverage

Our restaurant is well-known for its great Austrian cuisine, a very traditional menu at a very high level. Here you can enjoy a perfect evening in a good old Austrian atmosphere. The restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 14:00 and 18:00 to 22:00. It is closed on Sundays, except holidays and during festival season.

Area information

Anif is in the south of Salzburg-City and offers a vantage point for visiting Salzburg and its surroundings. It is 5 km to city centre.

Travel information

By Car: Coming from direction Germany: - Take the motorway A10 in the direction of Graz/Villach. - Leave the motorway at Salzburg Süd and head always in the direction of Anif. - After 2 minutes you come to a traffic light where you have to turn right. - After 50 metres you will see the Hotel Schlosswirt on the left side. Coming from direction Vienna: - Take the motorway A1 in the direction of Salzburg. - Then take the A10 in the direction of Graz/Villach. Then follow directions as above.

Travel information

There are buses from and to Salzburg every 20 minutes. From Salzburg take bus no. 25 and get off at Anif-Friesacher, or bus no. 170 until Anif-Schlosswirt. If you use a navigation system, please enter the full address of the hotel (including the town name of Anif) - there is another street of the same name in Salzburg.

Hotel Hubertushof treats you to exquisite local delicacies, with speciality periods such as wild game season, asparagus week, fish week and Italian cuisine week all held every year. The rest of the time the menu is still changed weekly, offering such specialities as a spicy wild game terrine with pumpkin chutney or home-made noodle dishes. Local fish fresh from the pond and seafood, such as mussels in sherry dressing, giant shrimp and sole gratin, are all prepared according to high culinary standards.

Area information

A lot of sights are close to the hotel. These include the historical city of Salzburg, the salt mines, the Zoo and castle Hellbrunn with the famous "water games". In the winter you can easily reach the ski areas - Amadé, Dachstein West and Jenner and Götschen in Berchtesgaden. In the summer you can use the "Mozart" cycling way or one of the other routes for bikes. If you like you can make a tour up to the Untersberg.

Travel information

From the train station take bus number 170 and get off at the "Niederalm Ortsmitte" stop. It is just 150 metres from the hotel. Travel time: approx. 20 minutes.
