The hotel is very close to the Buchholzer Stangewald, a forest nature reserve. This country hotel is beautifully situated on the edge of a forest, in the town of Annaberg-Buchholz, between Annaberg and Schwarzenberg, in the Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains) range The Landhotel & Gasthof Forsthaus is an ideal base for exploring the Erzgebirge region. The rooms radiate all the homely charm and tranquil atmosphere of this idyllic countryside. Tuck into the hearty breakfast buffet each morning and then round off a fine day’s sightseeing and activities by dining in the hotel restaurant. The surrounding area contains several hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing trails. The hotel is situated right along the official Europawanderweg (European long-distance paths).
