Area information

Armenistis is quite tiny despite being one of the main resort villages on the island. You can find 5-6 tavernas with an abundance of fresh fish and local delicacies, and a couple of cafe-bars. You will also come across mini-markets, small shops, rent-a-car/bike offices, and a small harbour with a nice, quiet sandy beach. There is no disco in the village, late night party goers must walk about 1 km to a couple of night spots. Armenistis is also the starting point for several hiking tours through the fantastic gorges and mountain villages. Livadi Beach (500 m) - A long, golden beach with sun beds and umbrellas. Agios Kyrikos (22 km) - The capital of the island and the main port where there are shops, bars, taverns and nightlife.
