This hotel is located in the heart of East Frisia on the edge of a forest, a 40-minute drive to the North Sea coast. It offers an indoor pool and a new enlarge spa area with lake views as of April 2012. The Ringhotel Köhlers Forsthaus offers rooms with a cable TV, private terrace, minibar and private bathrooms. All rooms have free Wi-Fi and offer a view of greenery or a terrace overlooking the lake. Facilities at the Köhlers Forsthaus include Finnish and organic saunas and a hot tub. Massages, foot reflexology and cosmetic treatments can be booked, and a TAO fitness centre is 600 metres away. A restaurant serves traditional Frisian cuisine and a bar and a terrace café, overlooks the gold fish pond. There is also a cosy corner with a fire place. Golf Club Ostfriesland is about a 35-minute drive away. The surrounding area is ideal for walking, hiking and cycling.
