Area information

Bad Kissingen lies in the heart of Germany, yet far from the stress and noise of large cities. The area surrounding the spa town offers numerous day trip destinations and unusual modes of transport: the post coach route running from Bad Kissingen to Bad Bocklet or to Aschach Castle is unique. This is the last post coach route belonging to Germany's postal service, and has been in use continuously since 1950.

Travel information

From the North: - Take the A7 motorway and exit at "Bad Kissingen/Oberthulba". From the South: - Take the A7 motorway and exit at "Bad Kissingen/Hammelburg". From the West: - Take the A3 motorway until you reach the junction "Biebelrieder Kreuz", and then continue on the A7 towards Fulda. - Take the exit "Bad Kissingen/Hammelburg". From the East: - Take the A71 motorway and exit at "Oerlenbach/Bad Kissingen". Once in Bad Kissingen, follow the signs to "Kurgebiet West". Travel along Schönbornstraße towards the centre ("Zentrum"), cross the Ludwigsbrücke bridge, and turn left into Theresienstraße. After approx. 500 m you will see our hotel on the left-hand side.

Bad Kissingen’s pedestrian zone is just a 3-minute walk away. The Regentenbau and Kurtheater concert halls are a 5-minute walk away. A bus stop can be found next to the Nordland, providing a link to the thermal baths in around 5 minutes. Hiking paths begin just outside the front door, and Bad Kissingen Train Station is 1 km away.
