Quick description

This guest house offers rooms with views of the Bavarian Forest, free Wi-Fi, a library and a children’s playground. It lies a 5-minute walk from the centre of Bayerisch Eisenstein. The rooms of the Gästehaus am Berg come with a TV and DVD player, tea and coffee-making facilities and free mineral water. Most rooms feature a balcony. Guests are welcome to relax in the lounge with open fireplace or in the garden. The library has English and German books. A variety of games, DVDs, travel guides and maps are also provided. A full breakfast buffet is served each morning in the breakfast room. It includes home-made jams, fresh bread and coffee specialities. Bayerisch Eisenstein is surrounded by the cycling, hiking and ski trails of the Großer Arber Mountain. There is a ski lift only 400 metres away. The Czech border is an 8-minute walk away.

Important information

All guests receive a Nationalpark ticket. This provides free local public transport (on the German side of the border) and free or reduced entrance to various local attractions.
