Set within 30 acres of chestnut forest, Bosco Ciancio is in the heart of Mount Etna Nature Reserve. Dating back to the 18th century, this ancient manor features a large garden with outdoor dining area. The rooms at Bosco Ciancio are bright and decorated with warm colours. All with wood-beamed ceilings, they also feature a flat-screen TV, minibar and a balcony overlooking the surrounding greenery. Bed linen is changed every 3 days and a hairdryer is available from reception. This stone farmhouse has a shared lounge with arched ceilings and a cosy fireplace. Breakfast is continental and the restaurant serves traditional Sicilian cuisine. It uses on the freshest ingredients and meat from local pastures. Staff organise Shiatsu massages, Nordic walking lessons and excursions to Mount Etna. Parking is free and Biancavilla centre is 7 km away. Catania city centre on the coast is around 1 hour's drive away.
