Hotel information

Our hotel is only a 7-minute walk away from the beach (free access for hotel guests). Children animation is offered in July and August and there is a meadow where kids can play. There is 1 barbecue evening organized per week in the garden, and 1 dinner in a traditional Carinthian Buschenschenke (wine grower's inn) or at the fish pond. The landlady offers guided walking tours. Please note, that dinners at the Buschenschenke or at the fish pond, as well as tours guided by the landlady are only available from mid-June to the end of August!

Follow the main road until the BILLA supermarket, behind which you turn left into the Gerlitzen Alpenstraße. Follow the switchback road until you are at 1,300 metres above sea level. You have arrived at your destination. On the way up the mountain, you pass a toll station. Pull a ticket and hand it over to the reception. You will then receive a toll-free pass for the duration of your visit. By train: There are many train connections to Villach from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands. From there, take a regional train to Bodensdorf. On prior request, we will pick you up from the station. By plane: The Carinthian capital of Klagenfurt, about 35 kilometres away, has an airport with daily connections to Vienna, Cologne, Hanover, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, London, Zurich and Paris.
