Borgo Piazza is a medieval hamlet on the Gulf of Squillace along Calabria's Ionian coast. It now offers an outdoor swimming pool, lake for fishing and football and volleyball courts. This historic property is 10 km outside the hill town of Borgia. It is just 3 km from the beaches of Catanzaro Lido and Squillace Lido. The ancient Greek city of Skilletion is also 3 km away. Rooms have a classic design and a view of the surrounding hills. Each one features a minibar and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Breakfast is buffet style and includes homemade desserts. Borgo Piazza's restaurant is open daily and serves Calabrian dishes and vegetarian meals. You will find a small chapel on site as well as a children's playground and a garden with plenty of deckchairs and parasols. There is also the forest, which is ideal for bike rides and walks.
