The traditional Hotel Sonnenspitze is located in the centre of Ehrwald, surrounded by the mountains of the Zugspitz Arena. It offers free Wi-Fi access in public areas and free parking. The Sonnenhang Ski Area is a 5-minute walk away. All rooms feature wooden furnishings, cable TV, and a bathroom with bright tiles and a hairdryer. Some rooms have a seating area. The spa area features a sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin, and a fitness room. Facilities at the Sonnenspitze Hotel also include a winter garden, a fireplace lounge, a children’s playroom, and baby equipment. The restaurant serves international and Austrian cuisine, as well as fine wines. There is also a bar. Guests of Hotel Sonnenspitze enjoy free admission with their guest card to Ehrwald’s public indoor pool, a 5-minute walk away. The free ski bus stops a 1-minute walk away and takes guests to the Zugspitze Ski Area in 15 minutes. In summer, many hiking and cycling trails are nearby, and the Zugspitz Golf Course is a 5-minute drive away.
