The chalet Rotfuchs is located at 1570m altitude in the fabulous mountain village Bellwald. You will have a great view on the Fiescherdal and Rhone valley from the chalet. The chalet is a former 400 year old stable which was transformed into a comfortable holiday home. It is located at ca. 20m from the street and is only accessible by walking on a narrow mountain path. with stairs. It is lovely to take breakfast on the south facing terrace in the morning - in the fresh mountain air. You will find a wood stove in the living/dining room. around which you can warm up in winter and enjoy a tasty cheese fondue or raclette. You will find a supermarket. a bakery. bank. ski school and a few restaurants at 10 minutes walk. The region is beautiful and is perfect for winter and summer sports activities like (glacier)walking. hang-gliding. ski and langlauf. You can reach the ski lift on foot in 10 minutes or by ski bus (stop at 50m). The lift brings you to the pistes of the excellent ski area Bellwald. You will reach the lift of Riederalp/Bettmeralp (3100 hight) in appr. 10 minutes by car.
