Built in 1836, Gilmore Guest House offers budget accommodation in the heart of Edinburgh city centre. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the building. Each room has a flat-screen plasma TV with multiple channels and a built-in DVD player. Guests can also make use of a USB player, which can play video content from a USB stick. The guest house is only a few minutes’ walk from Edinburgh International Conference Centre, and is 200 metres from the King’s Theatre. Haymarket Rail Station is a 15-minute walk from the building. Princes Street, with its views of Edinburgh Castle, can be reached in around 20 minutes on foot.

For express check-in between 17:00-00:00, customers may call the manager using the number given on the booking confirmation, they will then be given a code to gain access to the guest house and collect keys from the reception. Express check-in after 20:00 is subject to a surcharge. Late check-in after 16:30 must be arranged with the property at least 24 hours before arrival, or the booking will be cancelled. Please note that cots are provided subject to availability and space in the room and must be pre-booked in advance. Bedding for cots is subject to a charge, however guests may provide their own bedding for cots and will incur no extra charge.
